COACHES

Registration closes June 3rd with a limited number of coaches. We do anticipate that these free coaches slots will fill up quickly, so register as early as you can. There is no entry fee for you to attend the Pacific Masters Swimming EXCEL Weekend -  other than the cost of the ASCA courses identified below, or the optional underwater filming with Global Sport Technology. Plus, we’ll feed you! Free lunch provided for those attending the ASCA courses, and boxed lunches provided Saturday and Sunday, as well as food provided at an evening social on Saturday night.

Even though the clinic is free, you must register in advance in order to attend. To qualify for registering as a coach, you must be a head coach or assistant coach with a masters team and you may be asked to verify your status. Both team and coach must hold current 2011 registration with USMS.

Option for ASCA coaches certification training as follows. Space is limited. Registration for the ASCA courses includes Friday lunch provided by Excel Weekend.

• ASCA Cert I $84. If taken with Level II, $136.50 combined. Lunch included!
• ASCA Cert II $84. If taken with Level I, $136.50 combined. Lunch included!

Coaches may also optionally sign up (at your own expense) for swim power testing with Global Sport Technology (GST). This is quite popular and the number of slots are limited, so register now to reserve a filming session. Coaches will be filmed Saturday between 9:30 a.m. and noon or between 8 a.m. and noon on Sunday.

• GST Swim Power Test: Pull, kick, and swim tests (1-2 strokes) – price is $116
• GST Swim Power Test: Pull, kick, and swim tests (3-4 strokes) - price is $168

 

SWIMMERS

Registration closes June 3rd with limited space available. First come, first serve so don’t wait too long! You must register in advance to attend this clinic. You will receive a free EXCEL Weekend t-shirt with your registration. Swimmers must hold current 2011 USMS registration. Your registration also includes food at our social Saturday night and a boxed lunch on Sunday.

• $130 if registered by May 15th, 2011
• $150 after May 15th, 2011
